Google fiber goes live in KC

After months of fanfare and hype, gigabit home internet sevice is now available in Kansas City, KS.  Google Fiber went live on Tuesday in KC.  The search giant is offering 1 Gbps speeds for just $70 per month which is significantly cheaper AND faster than what any traditional American ISPs are offering.  I suspect many new customers will be choosing this week to sit in front of their speedy laptops and NOT leave the house!  Imagine, what an investment by Google could do for your neighborhood?
