The New Media Trinity

Content.  Conversation.  Distribution.  That is the new media trinity. WHAT content, HOW are you going to reach your customer and consumer (WHO) and WHERE are you going to reach her?  What touchpoint(s) are you focusing on?  That is a simple framework to utilize when pursuing compelling brand marketing and advertising communications.  However, before you get cranking, invest the time with colleagues and partners on defining your target audience and customer.  WHO is your customer?  Why?  Can you build a tribe of customers around her?  What are you attempting to change in her life?  Can you support her hopes and dreams and aspirations?  Start with your WHO customer before you spend time on creative tactics, technology and scalability.
