Competition

Competition fuels competitive drive.  In a competitive world (in which we live) adversity is your ally.  Adversity is your ally.  Think about that for a moment.  We all strive to get through each day with a minimal dose of adversity - right?  But this is the very component that  fuels your success.  Adversity - and pushing through it - is how you seperate yourself from the competition.  It's how you can insulate yourself in your job by performing these acts of heroism.  Seth Godin refers to this as "pushing thru your dip".  I simply believe competition is what drives you towards success.  It is what drives all of us to succeed.  IF we eliminate competition - we get no better.  We have no one to challenge our talents and resoruces and ingenuity and drive.  Add it all up - and yes - continue to seek out competition and work the best you can to be as productive and competitive as you can.  And the next time 'adversity' creeps into your daily work life, push through it and use it as fuel to your next big success!
